We are adding a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk for a temporary position in Lakeshore, Ontario. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees, and maintaining payroll records in compliance with local regulations.

Requirements
- Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, or related field is preferred.
- Experience in payroll processing
- Knowledge of payroll regulations and legislation in Ontario.
- Proficient with payroll software and MS Office (especially Excel).
Responsibilities
- Process payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy in calculations, deductions, and withholdings.
- Maintain and update payroll records, including timesheets, leave balances, and employee information.
- Ensure compliance with Ontario's employment and payroll-related laws and regulations.
- Coordinate with HR and finance departments to ensure seamless payroll operations.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee inquiries related to payroll.
- Prepare payroll reports and assist in financial audits related to payroll.
