Delivery Service Manager (90008)

ABC Supply Co. is the largest distributor of roofing and siding products across North America. With ABC's recent expansion into Canada, we are looking for more quality associates to join our team. The Delivery Services Manager schedules and routes product deliveries, coordinates fleet maintenance, updates customers on delivery statuses, and ensures safety and compliance.

Specific duties may include:

• Scheduling and routing product deliveries
• Making sure trucks are not overloaded and that all loads fall within standard weight limits for each vehicle
• Assessing job site delivery requirements and assigning appropriate delivery vehicles
• Resolving all vehicle safety issues by routing vehicles to the appropriate service facilities for needed repairs
• Keeping customers informed of delivery status
• Participating in the hiring of drivers, as well as their performance management
• Coordinating fleet maintenance and ensuring all repairs are completed properly
• Resolving customer delivery issues and answering all delivery related questions
• Assisting in accident and/or damage investigations ad claims
• Ensure/maintain compliance with all DOT regulations such as, quarterly DOT inspections, DVIR’s, and hours-of-service regulations
• Ensuring complete on-time deliveries (Fulfilling the Make-it-Easy Promise)
• E-mailing delivery photos to customers as needed
• Ensuring appropriate Delivery Driver coverage
• Providing support to sales associates

Specific qualifications include:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven leadership experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities and manage multiple service needs simultaneously
• Previous dispatch experience is preferred
• Mechanical knowledge is a plus

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
