About the Role
The Senior Analyst, Property Risk Control will support the Global Risk Manager, Property with the day-to-day administration of the global Risk Control & engineering program. They will interface with Magna divisions worldwide to review & implement Risk Control & engineering recommendations to improve overall risk quality & resiliency. They will also support divisional construction activities to instill best practices to manage risk including physical fire protection, natural catastrophe and equipment hazard risk improvements.
Your Responsibilities
- Review and tracking of Property Risk Control reports, data models & risk exposure data; monitor sprinkler impairments; monitor divisional changes to assess impact to risk quality; engage with internal & external stakeholders to ensure alignment with Magna’s corporate risk philosophy
- Track and report on-going construction projects (Greenfield, Brownfield, Expansion, Bump-out, etc.) to ensure adoption of risk improvement strategies
- Review site summaries to ensure new location profiles are created and locations are captured in overall property reporting / Risk Control program
- Attend on-site meetings to review Risk Control recommendations as required
- Develop internal reporting templates and utilize existing summary risk scoring metrics to communicate, manage and monitor risk improvement activities across the portfolio
- Coordinate Property Valuation / Asset valuation activities

Your preferred qualifications
- University degree in Engineering (Professional Engineering accreditation an asset)
- Preferred 5+ years of experience in a loss consulting role
- Travel is a requirement of this position
