What will your typical day look like?
As a member of the Engagement & Transformation Communications team, you’ll help develop and execute tactics to promote market activation. Your work will raise awareness internally across a matrixed organization and with various external stakeholders. This includes advising about various communication strategies and utilizing a broad network of global channels to promote and better orchestrate our efforts.
Reporting to the Global Consulting Communications Director, you’ll focus on project management, communications counsel and campaigns, channel strategy, writing, copy editing, message development and processes to bring new concepts to life internally among Deloitte professionals.
- Actively team with colleagues to influence the communications strategy, including advising global professionals on crafting clear, effective, strategic messages for newsletter articles, intranet copy, success stories, multimedia and more
- Ensure consistent positioning and coordinated messaging across the organization
- Develop and execute communications campaigns, plans and deliverables with an integrated approach to driving business goals
- Build relationships with key stakeholders in an advisor and liaison capacity to facilitate robust editorial planning
- Monitor results to assess success and inform campaign development
- Collaborate with priority teams and other communicators and marketers around the world
- Write for different types of channels and audiences
- Support the implementation of leading communications practices
- Contribute to the development of internal communications publications such as newsletters, including proofreading and distributing
- Support special projects

Enough about us, let’s talk about you
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience working in a matrixed multi-national or global organization
- Bachelors degree in Communications, Business, Journalism, English, Marketing, or related area
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in roles that require strong corporate communications and professional services skills
- Internal communications or agency experience directing a variety of campaigns and creating a variety of content is strongly preferred
- Ability to work in a matrixed organization with a virtual team
- Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to prioritize and manage expectations across multiple, complex projects/priorities/issues in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through skills
- Understanding of integrated marketing strategies and how they come together to provide measurable results
- Highly responsive, flexible and able to thrive in an agile environment, while possessing a high level of comfort with ambiguity
- Strong skills in the MS Office suite (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
- Experience with web design and development is a plus
- Experience in external communications and PR is a plus
