Your Responsibilities
● Contribute to a warm and welcoming atmosphere for patients, families and employees that exceeds expectations and leaves a lasting impression.
● Act as the first point of contact to our team members to provide support and conflict resolution. If needed, if you are not in the clinic, provide support over the telephone and via email.
● Oversee scheduling patient appointments efficiently; optimize the time and schedules of the dental professional team by minimizing gaps between appointments.
● Hire and train new office team members to respond to patients needs and manage billing systems.
● Manage the daily team member schedule including verifying employee timesheets, updating team member schedules as needed, coordinating coverage for vacation time, reviewing timeliness of appointment completion, and completing weekly and monthly reporting.
● Create, establish and management internal office protocols and procedures to ensure office efficiencies
● Lead and motivate team members in all areas of the business
● Oversee the processing of insurance and secondary insurance claims
● Build patient/employee relationships through ongoing dialogue and resolving any
escalated patient/employee issues promptly.
● Responsible for the organization and coordination of office supplies, deliveries, petty cash, etc.
● Manage the day to day finances by reviewing and processing accounts receivable (AR). Strong AR knowledge and experience is a huge asset.
Skills and Experience Required
● 3+ years of dental management experience.
● Experience managing a P&L.
● Highly proficient in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular).
● Flexible schedule. There will be day and evening shifts, as well as the occasional weekend.
● Experience in optimization of scheduling patient appointments.
● Experience coordinating employee schedules and coordinating coverage as needed.
● Demonstrated the ability to manage multiple priorities.
● Experience maintaining a professional level of patient/employee privacy.
● Highly proficient in conflict management.
