Design and Communications Assistant
The Enterprise Architecture Governance team is looking for a university co-op student to provide support in creating compelling and visually appealing presentations, reports, dashboards, and other materials. This position requires creative skills and attention to detail to effectively convey key messages and insights to our internal customers and stakeholders.

This is a hybrid role with two days in office at the Hydro One, Bay St downtown location in Toronto.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop visually appealing and informative presentations for stakeholders by incorporating data, graphics, and multimedia elements for communications campaigns.
Assist in the creation of templates, reports and summaries to support the decision-making processes.
Design and maintain internal sites and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPI) to visually communicate insights effectively.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather accurate information.
Assist with proofreading, editing, and formatting documents to maintain consistency and professionalism.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in graphic design tools, e.g. Adobe Creative Suite.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, e.g. PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint is a plus.
Familiarity with Business Intelligence Tools (e.g. Microsoft PowerBI) is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to present data in a clear and visually compelling manner.
Creative mindset with a demonstrated ability to translate ideas into engaging visuals.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
