Dietary Cook/Aide

Qualifications:

• Current Safe Food Handling Certificate
• Experience in a Long Term Care Facility
• Ability to work alone and as a team member and take direction
• Knowledge of special diets an asset
• Genuine disposition to provide care for the elderly

Primary Functions:

• Serving meals for residents including special diets
• Portioning of menu items
• Daily Cleaning of dishes and Kitchen/Dining areas
• Other duties as assigned

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

• 4% Vacation Pay

COVID-19 considerations:

• Covid-19 vaccinations preferred

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Salary: From $24.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

• French not required

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

• Overtime pay

Experience:

• dietary aide: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Food Handler Certification (preferred)
