We offer comprehensive marketing services in the areas of podcasts, memberships, courses, SEO, websites, graphic design, social media marketing, email marketing, and more.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Digital Marketing Assistant is responsible for the implementation of email marketing, social media marketing, blog posting and other marketing tasks. You may be requested to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description. This position is integral to the continued growth and success of the company and plays an important role in implementing strategy for clients of Superpower Digital.
We are looking to fill this role quickly. Individuals who are proactive will be prioritized first
- We are flexible with experience and will train you, if required
- We are in Alberta, Canada and most available during regular office hours
- Hours will start at 15-20 per week, although there is opportunity for more in the near future
- ** You must have your own computer with access to consistent internet
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
You will be required to work on multiple projects, with cross‐functional team members, including internal and external resources. You will be in contact with all internal team members and subcontractors including Graphic Designers, Social Media Coordinators, Developers, and Consultants. You will be expected to attend team and project meetings as required to fulfill work.
Email Marketing, Blogs and Social Media:
- Newsletters
- Blogs
- Promotional Emails
- Autoresponder Campaigns
- Scheduling posts across all major social media platforms
- Pulling key metric reports

- Idea generation & out-of-the-box thinking that will ensure clients have the most success in selling their products or services; show initiative
- Staying up-to-date on the latest methods of online marketing and recommending as needed
- Works well in an environment that deals with constantly changing deadlines and priorities, while staying on budget and maintaining highest standards of quality control
- Ability to problem solve by researching, analyzing requirements and gathering required information

- The ability to work efficiently and effectively in a virtual environment
Education, Experience and Skills
Required:
- Strong oral and written English language communication skills
- 1 year of Digital Marketing experience or a passionate interest in learning
- Comfortable with Facebook, Instagram and TikTok
- Demonstrated experience in working virtually
Some Experience Helpful:
- An understanding of marketing funnels
- Some knowledge of Google for Business Apps
- Working knowledge of Asana, a project management tool
- Experience with Keap, Kajabi, ConvertKit, Mailchimp, Constant Contact, Get Response and other email marketing platforms
- Basic Canva knowledge
- Knowledge of creating events in Eventbrite
Preference:
- Experience with social media posting and planning tools an asset
- Video and/or audio editing experience
- Basic graphic design

Salary: From $18.00 per hour
