Require personal assistant with strong computer and customer service skills with the ability to organize files both digital and paper.
Participants must be over the age of 18.
Document Creation: Create and format documents, graphs, and spreadsheets using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
Online Sales Support: Assist with packing, shipping, and receiving of online sales orders, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Bookkeeping (Optional): Basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks, including data entry, invoice processing, and reconciliations (experience with QuickBooks is a bonus but not required).
Social Media Management: Helpful if you you can support social media activities by creating content, scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and analyzing performance metrics. . We do have a team for the Muskoka Mornings this is just support for that portion of the business.
Flexibility: Be adaptable and willing to assist with various tasks and projects as needed, demonstrating a proactive and can-do attitude.
HACCP Training Support: (some training provided) Help to write and create documents to support recent HACCP training, organize training files, and ensure compliance with safety standards documents are completed, filed and organized.
Sales and Marketing: Collaborate with the team to create new sales sheets, PowerPoint presentations, and marketing materials for new accounts and promotional campaigns.
There are no schooling restrictions- they do not need to be a recent graduate or returning to school to participate.
All participants must be legally entitled to work in Canada, have an interest in innovation and growing personally and professionally.
Participants must agree to complete the paid 16-week placement and participate in the 4 mandatory virtual professional development workshops and the 3-day mandatory retreat.
Participants must be located within the districts of Nipissing, Parry Sound or Muskoka and able to easily get to Bracebridge for work. Some remote work is possible.
Help with a variety of office duties which includes shipping/receiving logistics. Must have experience with Excel and knowledge of quick books is preferred for billings and invoicing. for this task . Assistance with clients and general tidying and setting up procedures required.
This position works well for an individual looking to grow with a company in either a sales and marketing position or administrative position. Full time year round is an open for discussion the end of this term.
