What is the opportunity?
As Director, Enterprise Quality Assurance & Improvement Program (QAIP), you will enable/lead the development, maintenance and operation of a Global Quality Assurance and Improvement Program (Global QAIP) for the RBC Chief Audit Executive (CAE) Group, through development of a framework of appropriate methodology, processes, people and technology resources and a Global QA Plan (with inputs for US IA operations from Director, US QAIP), as well as directing the execution of the QA Plan for non-US IA operations, in support of: a) Quality Assurance, providing reasonable assurance to key stakeholders on adherence to the IA Charter, IA Methodology, applicable Standards (e.g. IIA Standards and Code of Ethics) and regulatory requirements/ expectations, and b) Improvements, through emphasis on assessing effectiveness and efficiency of operations. The Enterprise QAIP covers CAE Group operations globally across all platforms, functions and RBC entities, except for US IA Operations, and accordingly QA reviews will cover all engagement activities carried out by Internal Audit, the SOX Centre of Excellence team and other applicable areas.

What will you do?
- Guide and support the QAIP team members in their day-to-day activities.
- Direct Quality Assurance reviews of CAE Group activities.
- Manage the quarterly QA reporting process.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-Haves
- Undergraduate degree in business/ audit and professional audit designation (CIA/ CISA/ CPA).
- 7 to 10 years of general or specialist audit experience (e.g. IT, Risk) and/or advisory experience in financial institutions with experience in QA, IA methodology, learning, audit project and people management.
Nice to have
- Financial Risk Management related education/ designations.
