Indigo Bay has been serving locals and visitors in Canmore since 2000. Our online store is growing and we have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and creative individual with proven experience in e-commerce, Social Media and marketing to help us drive online success. Experience and an interest in women's fashion is definitely an asset.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement e-commerce strategies to drive online sales and achieve business goals
- Manage and optimize the company's e-commerce website, ensuring a seamless user experience
- Conduct market research and analyze consumer behaviour to identify trends and opportunities
- Create and manage digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, and Social Media advertising
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and maintain the Marketing Calendar, develop and execute promotional campaigns and product launches
- Monitor performance across all channels including website, email marketing, and Social Media, analyze data, and generate reports to track key metrics and identify areas for improvement
- Manage website inventory and product collections and presentation to respond to the Marketing Calendar and to maximize sales and profitability
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in e-commerce and digital marketing
- Manage Customer Service and communication across all channels to a high standard of excellence and responsiveness
- Manage timely processing and shipping of orders
Requirements:
- The candidate must live in the Canmore area and have a valid work permit to work in Canada
- Education in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience as an E-commerce Manager, Social Media Manager, or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of e-commerce and digital advertising platforms, including Shopify, Pinterest, Instagram and Facebook
- Proficiency in generating creative content across a variety of platforms
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and tools for keyword research and optimization
- Experience with Social Media management tools like Later Social for scheduling posts and monitoring engagement
- Experience with direct email marketing tools such as Mail Chimp and a proven ability to generate attractive and compelling email content
- Excellent written communication skills a must, with a keen eye for detail and proofreading abilities
- High attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Google Analytics or other web analytics platforms to track website performance
- Photography and videography are an asset
- Experience and interest in fashion and women’s clothing trends

Salary: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.00 – 40.00 per week
