Social Media Manager

Do you live and breathe Social Media? Connected Creative is looking for a contract Social Media Manager in Edmonton or Calgary to join our growing digital marketing agency for 30 – 40 hours per month (with the opportunity to grow into a full-time position for the right candidate). As our Social Media Manager, you’ll bring exceptional written communication, graphic design, organizational, and project management skills to the role. You’ll work with many different brands in many different industries so having prior agency experience is important.

Responsibilities Include:

• Develop and implement effective Social Media strategies to boost client engagement and online presence.
• Create compelling and shareable content across various Social Media platforms for various clients in different industries.
• Write engaging captions with research-backed hashtag strategies.
• Conduct in-person photo and video shoots to create social content.
• Monitor and analyze Social Media trends and audience insights.
• Manage and curate content calendars, ensuring timely and consistent postings.
• Interact with followers, respond to inquiries, and foster community engagement.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their brand and marketing goals.
• Track and report on the performance of Social Media campaigns.

Skills Required :

• Must be located in Edmonton or Calgary
• 2 – 5 years of Social Media management experience within an agency setting
• Post-secondary degree or diploma
• Strong graphic design skills
• Strong communication and writing skills
• Photo and video experience is considered an asset

This is a remote role, however, you must be located in Edmonton or Calgary for in-person meetings, events and photo/video shoots. Salary: $28.00-$33.00 per hour
