Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Use various teaching methods to engage children and promote their development
- Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, developmental milestones and follow the policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting
- Strong knowledge of Early Childhood development principles and practices
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Patience, creativity, and flexibility to adapt lessons to meet the needs of individual children
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass a background check
