We are seeking an Assistant Supervisor to join our team at Willowbrae Academy. As the Assistant Supervisor, you will invest your leadership skills and experience to create an amazing environment for Willowbrae's families, your staff and yourself. You will assist in the execution of Academy policy concerning admissions, operations, and programs.
Responsibilities:
Communicate the goals and objectives of Willowbrae Academy to the community
Assist parents in filling out forms and subsidy applications
Refer parents to appropriate professionals and resources as needed
Develop and implement the program through direction, participation, and ongoing evaluation
Supervise the activities of the staff and ensure that the children's individual needs are being met by the program
Delegate staff duties and communicate with staff daily
Maintain personnel files and act as a resource for staff members
Follow Behaviour Management Policy guidelines established by Willowbrae
Attend regular staff meetings and workshops to stay current in the field
Qualifications:
Degree in Early Childhood Education and a minimum of three years relevant practical experience
Current First-Aid and CPR certificate
Clear vulnerable sector and criminal record check
