The School
Eleanor Hall School (K-9), located in Clyde, Alberta (approximately 110 km northwest of Edmonton), is committed to the growth, safety, and success of all students.
The Position
The successful candidate must be a self-directed team player who is interested in providing support and encouragement to students with a diversity of learning needs in a Grade classroom. Hours of work will be 5 days/week at 7 hours/day following the school calendar. Duties to commence as soon as possible and will end June 27, 2024.
Qualifications:
Experience working with behaviorally challenged students would be an asset
Experience working with school aged children
Preference will be given to applicants with an understanding of childhood development
A clear understanding of the roles and responsibilities of a program assistant
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with students and adults
Able to work as a member of the school team
Willingness to collaborate with teachers, support staff, and other professionals
Enthusiastic and motivated to help students succeed
SIVA Training would be an asset
First aid would be an asset
