Northern College is seeking an Employment Services Coordinator in our Employment Services Timmins Center. The successful candidate will have leadership and organizational qualities, as well as interpersonal, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. The incumbent will possess tact and diplomacy, and statistical abilities. Furthermore, the incumbent will possess excellent computer skills. Proficiency in both English and French, verbal and written, is an asset.

Reporting to Manager Employment Services and Academic Upgrading, the incumbent is responsible to oversee and lead the ESteam in the delivery of the full suite of Employment Services including Employment Services, Youth Job Connection, Youth Job Connection-Summer, Youth Job Link and the Canada Ontario Job Grant program all governed under Employment Ontario.
What you will be doing:
- Oversee the effective and efficient delivery of additional revenue generating programs;
- Monitor the overall Service Quality of all Employment Services programs;
- Direct the management and administration of data required in the EOIS-CaMS, CATS, and the ESMS-SPM;
- Liaise with employers, government agencies and a variety of community, social, Aboriginal and educational partners;
- Monitor wage subsidy expenditures and training support allowances; and
- Monitor projected review in the Community Disability Support Program.

What you will need to be considered:
- 3-year diploma or a degree in Human Services or related field;
- Minimum of five (5) years of practical experience which includes career guidance, employment workshop delivery, job placement and working with statistical data as it pertains to employment programs and services.
