Tennyson’s offers a wide range of products, for sale or rent, from air and compact tools, excavating, generators, pumps, safety supplies, site management supplies, general tooling, and more.
Tennyson’s is located on Highway 21 in Underwood and is geared up and growing again! We are currently searching for experienced candidates for the positions of Equiptment Service Technician.
As an Equipment Service Technician, you will be responsible for repairs and maintenance of a variety of rental equipment. Will range from small tools to large machinery.
Responsibilities:
- Preform electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance and repairs on construction equipment
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and inspect a variety of construction equipment to detect faults and malfunctions or extent of repair required
- Adjust, repair, and replace parts using hand tools and equipment
- Perform scheduled maintenance and required repairs on equipment
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers specifications
- Report on work preformed and the condition of equipment and create work orders
- Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time
- Must have knowledge in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Must have your own basic tools
- Mechanical licence would be an asset
- Must have a valid class G drivers licence with a clean drivers abstract
- Practical knowledge of the function, operation, and maintenance of construction equipment
- Licences / knowledge to operate various types of equipment (excavation, forklift, arial, high reach) would be an asset. Training will be available
- Must follow all health and safety rules and requirements including wearing proper PPE
- Reliable team player with excellent communication skills
- Keen attention to detail, organized, and work well under pressure
- Ability to work independently and maintain a safe and clean work area
