On-site Event Coordinator
A non-profit multicultural center is looking for an energetic and dynamic Event Coordinator to manage all on-site events. This is a newly established role that used to be part time. The organization has a family vibe environment and is very welcoming. You would be part of a small, hands-on team, working closely with all the clients and members
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Showing the event spaces to customers and help them plan and visualize the
details for their events.
Maintain excellent relationships with clients, with regular communication, taking calls,
sending quotes and booking appointments.
Responsible for the accounting and costing break down of hall rental clients.
Following up, signing contracts and writing sales orders.
Ensure that events run smoothly and that clients are taken care of.
Maintaining regular communication and strong relationships with vendors and keeping track of schedules.
Collecting invoices.
Keeps track of data regarding activity and sales of halls.
Following up with clients post events.
QUALIFICATIONS/CORE COMPETENCIES:
Excellent communication skills and engaging personality.
Strong sales ability
Bilingual
Organized and computer literate
Ability to problem solve and think on your feet.
Able to work in a dynamic environment with changing demands and expectations, and
flexible to new tasks.
Ability to work some evenings and weekends as needed.
Have a good understanding of various culture and life events a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
