We are looking for someone who brings energy to interactions, has a professional image and social personality when working with customers.
Under direction of the Learning Excellence Manager, this position will be responsible for execution and support before, during and after training events including technical, facilitator and other resource needs.
Responsibilities:
● Execution and implementation of event plans
● Guide and support facilitators on the interpretation of event day expectations to ensure preparedness for delivery of event;
● Provide technical (audio and visual) and resource support to facilitators before and during the event, ensuring any technical issues are addressed and resources are in place (i.e.. training kits and materials);
● Conferring with team members before the event and post-event to achieve desired outcomes, including advising of new technical requirements and equipment needs.
Skills and Competencies Required
● Experience using basic audio and visual technology (Zoom, Google Meets, etc.)
● High aptitude for communicating information between technical and non-technical people
● Attention to details and meticulous execution of event plan
● Exceptional problem solving skills
● Proactive team player with ‘can do’ attitude especially in high pressure situations
● Excellent writing and verbal communication skills and ability to negotiate agreements with suppliers
* Available to work during the day, Monday to Friday, without distractions
*Event planning task experience i.e. booking rooms, food vendors, ensuring communication regarding access, schedules activities etc.
* Strong computer skills, specifically with database systems and any google drive programs
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
