The GrandWay Lounge and Events Centre is seeking motivated and energetic:
EVENT SERVERS
The Food & Beverage Servers will be responsible for providing high levels of customer care to support our Lounge and Events Centre. The servers will perform customer care duties in a friendly and professional manner at and ensure that the guests have a pleasant dining and enjoyable experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Take requests from guests and ensure these are given to the appropriate person to execute.
- Maintain familiarity with the composition of menu items, including items available at the bar.
- Serve food and beverages in accordance with professional, courteous manner.
- Refill condiments, clear tables and change table linen as required
- Ensure table decorations are clean and comply with company standards.
- Ensure that guests are correctly charged, present the bill, and take payment from the guests.
- Be continually aware of and maintain the highest standards of personal hygiene and dress.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or college would be preferred.
- Smart Serve certification
- Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills
- 1 years of banquet or restaurant service experience
- Professional appearance and manners
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, decision making and problem-solving skills.
- Computer literate with MS Office applications and POS experience
