Private Event Server

Yellow Wood is in search of an experienced Private Event Server to join their growing team. The successful candidate will be working in close collaboration with the Executive Chef on a part-time basis. As an ideal Private Event Server, you have a high attention to detail, strong service etiquette, and years of experience in a fine-dining setting.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Executive Chef to create an elevated lunch service from Wednesdays to Fridays
• 1-3 times per week, with the occasional 'break/reset' period
• 10:00am start time, ending close to 2:00pm
• Present elegantly and quietly confident. Express warmth and polish, not overly formal, with a high attention to detail
• Serve lunch in an intimate, residential setting for small groups between 4-10 people, with an occasional larger group of up to 18 people (with additional support provided)

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High professionalism and attention to detail
• 5-10 years of service experience in a fine-dining setting
  
• Professional appearance and punctual
  
• Smart-serve certification
General knowledge of wine and food pairings - nice to have
