Position Title: Executive Co-Ordinator for Ladies Who Lead Location: Brantford Ontario
Overview: Ladies who Lead is seeking a dedicated and highly organized Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support to our executive team. As an integral part of our organization, the Executive Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our agency. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Excel in social media skills and can work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the executive team, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, social media platforms.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including board members, community partners and committee membership.
- Prepare and distribute correspondence, reports, and presentations on behalf of the executive team.
- Maintain accurate records and files, both electronic and hard copy, ensuring confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
- Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned by the executive team, which may include research, data analysis, and event planning.
- Coordinate board meetings and other executive-level meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items.
- Assist with fundraising efforts, including donor stewardship, grant applications, and event coordination.
- Collaborate with committee members to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Manage all social media platforms daily and coordinating maintenance as needed.
- Uphold the values and mission of Ladies Who Lead in all interactions and activities.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an executive assistant or similar role, preferably in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of professionalism and discretion.
- Proficiency in all social media platforms
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and responsibilities.
- Commitment to the mission and values of Ladies Who Lead
- Previous experience working with volunteers, donors, or board members is a plus.
- Knowledge of nonprofit operations and fundraising best practices is desirable.
