Health And Safety Coordinator – Contract Role – Asap Start

CES is currently looking for a Health and Safety Coordinator for one of our clients in the pharmaceutical industry in Windsor, Ontario. This is a short-term position is to cover a leave of absence expected to last approximately 14 weeks.
Responsibilities

• Conduct workplace inspections and Gemba walks


• Follow up on actions with action owners


• Update scorecards, Weekly reporting, assist in investigations with supervisors


• Use Intelex – will be trained


• Issue safety talks


• Monitor compliance wire


• Monitor area inspections


• Use PowerPoint


• Conduct HSE Orientation


• Asset – certified JHSC member level 1 and 2; previous experience in Health and Safety

Requirements

• Able to conduct workplace inspections


• Effective communicator


• Computer skills – excel, PowerPoint


• Attention to detail – multi-task


• minimum completion of high school diploma


• Asset – certified JHSC member level 1 and 2; previous experience in Health and Safety

Additional Information

• Day Shift


• Wage $25 to $30/hr (Weekly Pay Every Friday!)


• Estimated duration of position is from March 2024 to mid-June 2024


• Reliable transportation to the West end of Windsor
