Description
The Ministry of SaskBuilds and Procurement (SBP), where infrastructure, procurement, real property, facility management, logistics and information technology meet to enable the Government of Saskatchewans Growth Plan and programs and services for citizens and communities.
The Ministry is seeking a highly skilled and collaborative leader to provide strategic leadership and direction to the Procurement Management Division as Executive Director, Strategic Sourcing. Reporting to the Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) and as an integral member of the senior management team, this position will:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Procurement Management Division;
- Provide senior leadership to Ministry procurement and contract management framework;
- Contribute to the development of a Ministry-wide Indigenous engagement strategy;
- Participate as an active member of the Ministrys senior leadership team; and more!

Typically, the knowledge, skills and experience required to be successful in this position would have been obtained through:
- Completion of an undergraduate degree in administration, commerce, economics or a related field of study, supplemented with extensive directly related experience in strategic planning and legislative and policy development; and
- Extensive senior leadership experience with proven success leading a high-performing team.
