Description
The Executive Director holds the overall responsibility for all aspects of the organizations operation and reports to the Board of Directors.
Is accountable for internal (staff, client) and external (families, suppliers, community, funders, etc.) relationships.
Is responsible for the successful leadership, management, and implementation of the strategic goals and objectives of the organization according to Board direction. Ensuring organization and its funders objectives are met.
Holds primary responsibility for staff and operations of all programs, overseeing financial reporting and budgeting, as well as ensuring proper administration of the policies, legislation, and the collective agreement. Carry out other administrative and organizational tasks as required.
Relevant post-secondary education and related experience, with minimum 5 years of experience in a management role. A combination of training and experience may be considered.
