Prairie Employment Program Inc. (PEP) assists job seekers who are 16 years or older, unemployed or underemployed, and experiencing disabilities or barriers to employment. Our organization provides a range of resources to help these individuals succeed in the workforce.
The Board of Directors are seeking a dynamic, energetic, and forward-thinking leader to be their Executive Director. You will be responsible for the management and oversight of the daily operations.
Key Abilities and Responsibilities:
-Extensive knowledge of community services and programs, employment market, education/training programs, local transportation services, daycare services, the Ministry of Immigration & Career Training, supports and services, Service Canada programs and services and other applicable resources available
-Ability to design and update counselling program to meet the needs of the clients served.
-Provide employment counselling services to clients
-Establishing and maintaining positive community/employer relationships
-Supervision and evaluation of staff
-Development and management of budgets, preparation of grant proposals and reporting procedures
-Other duties as assigned by the Board
Qualifications:
-Post secondary education and experience in a related field such as employment counselling, career development, human resources development, psychology, management or administration
-A drivers s licence and vehicle are necessary
-Must be bondable
