Facilities Maintenance Summer Student

CNPI is looking to hire a student to assist in the Fleet, Facilities & Stores Department who pursuing full-time post-secondary education at an accredited University or College. Preference may be given to those students that have completed one (1) year of post-secondary and are available for four (4) months, May through to the end of August 2024. To be effective, students must possess good judgement and work ethic, strong initiative and a positive attitude!

FACILITIES SUMMER STUDENT KEY DUTIES - The candidate will assist and support the Fleet, Facilities and Stores Department with day-to-day activities including but not limited general labour and maintenance duties inside and outside the building such as lawn and yard maintenance, basic landscaping, window cleaning, painting, garage clean-up, cleaning company vehicles, organizing materials and assisting with the shipping and receiving of any goods.

Qualifications include: The ideal candidate will have the following minimum qualifications:

• Pursing full-time post-secondary education at College or University (a copy of enrollment will be requested)
• Must be physically capable of lifting, pushing and pulling up to fifty (50) lbs
• Ability to take initiative and work pro-actively with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
