SalaryThis individual will support the Canada Vehicle Pricing team and the Canada Forecast/Brand Reporting team.
Responsibilities of the Finance Intern include, but are not limited to:
- Completing special projects and assignments that support process improvements and efficiency
- Conducting competitive pricing analysis
- Analyzing data that could lead to potential profit opportunities or risks
- Conducting ad hoc reporting and analysis as required
- Liaising between Vehicle Pricing and Forecast teams as well as operating partners
- Ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, preferably a background in finance, strong Microsoft Excel/Power BI skill set with a propensity to streamline and automate
What you will learn in this organization:
- Develop the skills and confidence to present information to senior management
- Demonstrate to senior management the completeness and accuracy of the work
- Problem solving by demonstrating to senior management the ability to question the data, determine the issues, and present possible solutions
- How to communicate effectively and act as a liaison between different groups within the finance and operations teams
- Develop knowledge of profit forecasting and variance analysis

Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- Ideal candidate will have recently completed their studies
- Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deliverables under tight time constraints
- Some flexibility in work schedule to meet internal deadlines
- Solid interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work productively as a member of a cross functional team
- Energetic, ambitious, and motivated, with demonstrated performance
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deliverables under tight time constraints
- Microsoft Power BI experience
