Does the idea of working in a collaborative and fast-paced changing environment, contributing to sales and inventory planning & forecasting activities for a word-class retailer interest you? As a forward-thinking and dynamic individual, you will report to the Senior Manager, Merchandise Financial Planning, within FP&A in the Finance Division. You will play an active role collaborating with business partners, including Category and Inventory Managers and Directors, to finalize the development and approval of the Annual Financial Plan and in-season forecasts. You will conduct analysis to identify sales trends across product categories and sales channels. You will present sales and inventory forecasts in Monthly Business Review meetings to the Director of FP&A, VP of Merchandising and VP of Inventory.

About the Role
- Plan and forecast sales and inventory, in collaboration with Merchandising and Inventory Management teams to meet customer needs and key corporate metrics.
- Analyze variance to plans, identify opportunities to drive sales and support leadership execution of forecasts and plans.
- Present plans and analysis to senior leadership
- Prepare periodic and weekly reporting of sales and inventory metrics, while monitoring daily sales performance.
- Perform analysis and other forms of decision support for the Finance, Merchandising and Inventory teams.
- Work alongside fellow MFP team members to support overall team and organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with other business areas, including the Merchandising and Inventory teams, in developing and executing plans.
- Post-secondary education in business or a related field and/or equivalent job-related experience.
- Extensive experience working in a collaborative retail merchandising environment related to sales, margin and inventory planning and reporting, open-to-buy management, and financial analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) is a must.
- Experience with Blue Yonder Enterprise Planning software or equivalent planning tools.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, as you collaborate with team members and business partners across the organization (both in the office and virtually).
- Progressive analytical and strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and sound judgment.
- Data-driven with the ability to analyze and review numbers and trends to support sales and inventory forecasts.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment while managing multiple tasks and competing priorities, leveraging sound judgement and decision-making abilities.
- Highly motivated with strong drive for continuous improvement with or without direction.
- Highly developed business and financial acumen to drive business performance, embracing change and innovation.
- The ability to conduct complex financial analysis and learn new financial software and systems with ease.
- Detail oriented with strong organization skills is a must.
