Financial Controller

DUTIES
- Oversee all financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with regulations
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data
- Manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, collections, and vendor payments
- Conduct regular account analysis and reconciliation to identify discrepancies or errors
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities to support strategic planning and decision-making
- Coordinate and oversee the annual audit process with external auditors
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support for business initiatives
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in financial management

REQUIREMENTS
- Car Dealership accounting experience preferred
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software (PBS Dealership Management Software is ideal) and MS Office Suite (particularly Excel)
- Experience with payroll processing and familiarity with payroll software (Payworks)
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $55,000.00-$72,000.00 per year
