- Oversee full cycle accounting operations including revenue recognition, accounts receivable, accounts payable and month end processes
- Assist the Director of Finance and CFO with quarterly public financial statements
- Assist in facilitating external audit of financial statements with external audit firm
- Assist in coordinating and preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, reporting any variances
- Ensure all reporting is compliant with statutory law and financial regulations
- Contribute to company financial strategy and decision-making processes
- Manage accounting operations in all aspects
- Develop and manage financial controls in accordance with the companyâ€'s procedures
- Assist with mergers and acquisition planning and consolidating financial operations
- Support Finance Department initiatives, including software and systems implementation and other departmental improvements, through research, planning and implementation, as needed
- You have an entrepreneurial spirit + numbers are your jam
- You operate in a fast-paced environment adhering to deadlines and getting the job done
- 5+ years in an accountant or related position
- Post-secondary education in Accounting
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Desire for continual learning
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- CPA designation (or working towards), an asset
- Netsuite Enterprise experience, an asset
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and G-Suite
- Salary: $90,000-100,000
- Quarterly company based bonus' (up to $10,000 per annum)
- 3 weeks vacation + 3 sick days + select company days off
