About the Opportunity
Plan, direct and coordinate all accounting operational functions
Coordinate internal and external financial statements
Plan, organize and coordinate the year-end close process with internal staff and external auditors including preparation of audit binders
Provide VP Finance with information vital to the decision-making process
Manage the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities of accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash management, invoicing/billing, customer credits and collections, fixed asset records, inventory, general ledger accounting and payroll.
Analysis and reporting to control costs of goods, miscellaneous projects and material procurement to drive margin.
Hire, train and mentor competent accounting staff
Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures
Ensure successful completion of the company’s regulatory and tax filings
Assess current accounting operations, offer recommendations for improvements and implement new processes
Maintain operations budgeting and forecasting models
All other duties as required
About You
CPA
8-10 years accounting experience in a senior accounting or financial management role with at least 3 years’ experience in full cycle accounting and people management
Experience with manufacturing and ability to be “hands on”
Strong Excel skills
Data Analytical skills (eg Experience with BI)
Salary Range
$120,000 - $140,000/year
