Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

Our reputable client is seeking a Senior FP& A Business Partner to join the company. In this role you must be able to multitask and work under multiple tight deadlines at once, as well as excellent analytical capabilities and strong verbal and writing skills. This role is perfect for an experienced Analyst looking for a challenging role at an established company.
What you get to do every day

• Prepare data mining tools and financial models for variance analysis
• Provide key financial analysis to inform both day-to-day and strategic decisions
• Test fiscal and budget assumptions in the development of operating plans
• Oversee and manage Financial Planning team operations
• Analyze financials for the forecasting and corporate budgeting processes
• Collaborate in cross-functional development teams to improve strategic issues
• Engage with staff by recruiting, selecting, training, evaluating, and retaining employees
• Estimate costs of operating plans and then develop budget and forecasts during the annual budget development cycle
• Aid in regulatory filings
• Contribute to financial deliverables for the executive team
• Manage the development of short- and long-term financial forecasts and financial analysis
• Complete financial valuation and analysis for mergers and acquisitions
• Enable strategic and day-to-day decisions through financial analysis
• 8+ years of experience in FP& A required
• Exceptional qualitative and quantitative skills
• Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills
• Advanced knowledge of computer software, including writing macros in Excel, Access, financial Modeling and other accounting packages
• Capable of analyzing complex business problems, proposing effective solutions and understanding and applying business vision and direction
• Strong business acumen required
• MBA, CPA, CFA, or other relevant certifications are a plus
• 2+ years of FP& A supervisory/leadership experience
• Must be excellent at communicating and building relationships
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field is required
