Food & Beverage Staff –
Position is a flexible position throughout the golf course. Employee will be required to be able to move fluidly between all three positions; Restaurant, Beverage Cart & Banquets. (With the exception of employees that are not licensed to serve liquor will strictly be in banquet/set up)

RESTAURANT:
This position serves customers by providing information to help Food and Beverage selections, presenting orders and maintaining dining ambiance. In our goal to become the leader in the industry, it is paramount that you provide superior service to our guests.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding Food and Beverages.
- Take orders and serve all Food and Beverage requests, noting all special dietary needs and requests.
- Ability to describe all menu items and daily specials, prices and methods of preparation.
- Ensure station and table set-ups are complete and clear and reset tables in the dining room & lounge area utilizing the appropriate table settings and service ware.
- Maintain proper condition and cleanliness of dining areas and service equipment, following sanitation, Covid-19 policies, safety and alcoholic beverage policies.
- Control customer checks and secure proper payment, following and completing proper cash handling procedures.
- Communicate with kitchen staff and keep them informed by noting timing of meal progression.
- Assisting all teammates on the floor during peak hours of operation to create a team work environment.
- Perform assigned side work at the beginning and end of each scheduled shift to be completed and checked by Glendale’s Supervisor and/or Food & Beverage Manager.
- Assist the restocking and replenishment of supplies.
- Able to follow all GGCC steps of service, and all company policies.
- Work well alone during down time, a self starter and able to find projects that will aid in the success of service in the restaurant.
- Must possess a valid It's Good Business certificate to maintain employment.

BEVERAGE CART/KIOSK/PATIO:
This position drives the beverage cart to different areas of the golf course to serve Food and Beverages to guests. As well as serving on our patio out of our Kiosk location. In our quest to become the leader in the industry, it is paramount that you provide superior service to our guests.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Take orders on the golf course and serve all Food and Beverage requests.
- Multitask by serving out of the kiosk as well as BBQ/Patio Area.
- Maintain cleanliness and set up a successful service area of the Patio area.
- Ensure that all customers are greeted in a timely, friendly and professional manner.
- Secure proper payment and use proper cash handling procedures using the POS system.
- Perform various side duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Maintain proper condition and cleanliness of beverage cart and service equipment.
- Able to drive and operate a Beverage Cart safely and responsibly as to the rules of the golf course.
- Report all equipment problems to Supervisor or Food & Beverage Manager.
- Assist the restocking and replenishment of supplies following GGCC opening and closing procedures.
- Able to follow all GGCC steps of service, and all company policies.
- Must be able to drive a beverage cart using extreme caution.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License, and It's Good Business certificate to maintain employment.

BANQUET SERVER/SET-UP:
This position serves Food and Beverage items to wedding & event customer guests in a timely, professional manner whilemaintaining dining ambiance. In our goal to become the leader in the industry, it is paramount that you provide superior service to our guests.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with catering staff to ensure proper service of food & beverages according to the Banquet Function Sheet.
- Serve guests meals according to the meal selections and follow the basic floor plan and meal serving map.
- Clear tables and return all equipment to their respective areas.
- Retrieve all reusable food items and place them on our breakdown station.
- Ensure service corridor safety by transporting all equipment in the proper manner.
- Ensure that all spills and breakage are attended to immediately, following proper health and safety procedures.
- Gather all equipment necessary to service a function and maintain a clear and immaculate service coordination.
- Setting ballroom or other banquet facility space according to Function Sheet and assist in moving any tables and chairs as assigned throughout the event.
- Responsible for the proper handling of all equipment and props and knowledge of the appropriate table setting and service ware.
- Maintain tables and all supplies for the duration of the function.
- Communicate any challenges or customer requests with the Banquet Captain, Supervisor on duty or F&B Manager.
- Ensure all linens and décor items at the end of the evening are placed in proper bags and bins and sorted according to proper suppliers.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Salary: From $15.30 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 50 per week
