Food And Beverage Server

We are looking for outgoing, enthusiastic, hard working individuals to join our Food and Beverage Service Team.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

• Restaurant: Responsible for taking guest orders, serving Food and drinks, clearing and cleaning tables.
• Meetings and Events: Serving Food and drinks, helping set up and break down the event . Follow instructions provided for each specific event
• Fast Paced environment, physically demanding, standing for extended periods of time.
• Great Customer Service skills and the ability to handle cash and credit transactions, responding to questions, complaints and special requests.
• POS system being used is Squirrel
• Minimising waste and keeping your supervisor or duty manager in the loop about any unsafe equipment, low supplies, or safety incidents
• Be cleaner than clean – meet or exceed local cleanliness and hygiene laws
• Taking on ad-hoc duties to keep the service running smoothly

What we need from you

• Must have authorization to work in Canada.
• The strength to lift, push and pull big objects up to 50lbs (23 kg) which can also involve bending and kneeling
• A good grasp of reading, writing and basic maths
• Available on weekdays, weekends, evenings, holidays
• Compliance with local laws on food handling and serving alcohol – you’ll need to be above the minimum age required and fluent in the local language
• Great communication – you’ll be warm, welcoming, and easy to talk to
• Previous serving experience an asset
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Team player
