Port Carling Golf and Country Club is hiring a Food & Beverage Supervisor. Our Food & Beverage team is looking for a F&B Supervisor who will be in charge of the Food and Beverage and service components for the Dining Room. The F&B Supervisor will oversee the day to day operation of the Dining Room, and will stand in when the F&B Manager is not on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the daily operation of the Dining Room including managing reservations, creating appropriate floor plans and ensuring server knowledge of weekly menu changes
- Maintain food & beverage inventories, counts and spillage sheets
- Assist with event operations, as directed, pertaining Food and Beverage requirements
- Responsible for forecasting, scheduling and managing daily staffing levels to ensure adequate staffing for reservations
- Responsible for ensuring all F&B outlets are closed properly and ready for the following day
- Accountable for the performance, conduct and discipline of Food and Beverage staff, reporting all staff incidents to Food & Beverage Manager
- Accountable for adherence to all food & beverage procedures and policies, ensure staff are following outlined procedures and policies
- Assume F&B server duties when required and according to business volumes
- Engage, converse and interact with members in a positive, friendly, professional, courteous and respectful manner at all times
- Ensure that all closing procedures are completed including chit accuracy, cash-outs and accounting procedures
- All other duties as assigned by the Food & Beverage Manager, Executive Chef & General Manager
Education and Experience
- Previous fine dining serving and supervisory experience required
- Ontario Smart Serve certification required
- Food handling certification an asset but not required
- First Aid/CPR certification an asset but not required
- Experience using online reservation system
- Understanding of POS software an asset

Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
