The Sunshine Coast Golf & Country Club is looking for an outgoing hands-on leader to work as our Food & Beverage Services Manager. Our Food & Beverage operations are centered in our 15,000 sq ft. clubhouse and connected to a premier 18-hole championship golf course in Roberts Creek, BC.
We are looking for a result driven, service minded individual, who is skilled in providing a great dining & catering experiences to our diverse set of members and guests.
The Food & Beverage Manager will lead the F&B team, along with our Head Chef, working to ensure our Food & Beverage operations meet the high expectations of our members and guests.
The ability to maintain a high profile, while interacting positively and professionally with members, guests, and staff alike, is essential.
Responsibilities
· Establish and deliver high standards of service that are responsive to the needs of our members and guests.
· Daily inspections of the whole F&B operation focusing on cleanliness, inventory levels, ambiance, and service flow.
· Staff recruiting, training, scheduling, directing, motivating, rewarding, and disciplining.
· Work closely with the Head Chef and Event Organizers to ensure smooth service before, during and after events.
· Develop and maintain close and effective working relationships with all supporting F&B personnel and other department heads.
· The ability to manage all expenses, including COG’s and labour costs of the F&B department.
· Oversee daily, weekly ordering with monthly supplies and inventories.
· Menu planning, control, and implementation, including use of JONAS software
Qualifications
· 5 years’ experience in all facets of Food & Beverage operations.
· Minimum 2-years management experience.
· Previous Golf Club or Resort experience is an asset
· Possess excellent verbal & written communication skills.
· Computer literacy in MS Office and POS systems.
· Serving it Right and Food Safe Level 1 certificates.
· Solid BCVQA Wine & Beverages knowledge.

Salary: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
