Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Food Server to join our team. As a Food Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests by taking and delivering food orders in a timely and efficient manner. Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and drink orders from guests and provide recommendations on food selections
- Prepare and serve food and drink according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure accurate billing by correctly inputting orders into the point-of-sale system
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food and drink area, including restocking supplies as needed
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the safety of our guests
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any guest concerns or inquiries promptly and professionally
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
Skills:
- Previous experience in the food service industry, preferably in a restaurant or bar setting
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques and Smart Serve Certification require
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to anticipate guest needs
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for accurate order processing and billing
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
