Island Catering Ltd. is a local family-owned business that was started in Victoria BC. Our catering includes corporate events, private events, weddings, showers as well as catering for local coffee shops.
In addition to the above we have been catering for the military for over 12 years. The current position we are hiring for is for our catering services at Albert Head Training Centre. This position will be full-time with a very steady schedule.
Early morning shifts are from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and our later shifts are from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
We work in a large industrial kitchen with lots of windows and doors set on a quite base with tons of surrounding nature.

This position requires a high level of attention to detail, the ability to work quickly and efficiently, and excellent organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Assist chefs with food prep.
- Serving food from a steam line.
- Adhere to all food safety requirements.
- Maintain a positive attitude and work ethic.
- Clean up the dining room and kitchen.
- Put dishes through an industrialized dishwasher
- None to minimal customer service required for this position.
