Nook is a family owned panini shop which has been operating for over 15 years in Downtown Toronto. We serve paninis & salads and also serve catering to the local area. We are a fast paced shop and are looking for an energetic, responsible and customer focused staff to join our team.

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Food Service Worker to join our team. As a Food Service Worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Food Service establishment. If you have a passion for the food industry and providing excellent customer service, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing salads, and assembling sandwiches
- Preparing ingredients for sandwiches and other menu items
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Operate cash registers and handle customer transactions
- Packaging completed orders for delivery couriers
- Handoff items correctly to delivery couriers in a timely manner
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely service
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies and monitoring stock levels
Requirements:
- Previous experience in Food Service or hospitality is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects if required
