Forklift/Shipper

Melo LLP is currently searching for an experienced Forklift/Shipper for one of our clients located in the Kingsville area. If you are looking to work within a newer warehouse facility, then this opportunity would be ideal for you.

Responsibilities:

• Forklift operation, loading and unloading trucks, and stacking pallets
• Required to examine shipments, and organize inventory
• Staging orders and wrapping pallets
• Daily inspection of as forklift and reporting any mechanical or safety issues to the Warehouse Supervisor

Requirements:

• Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum two (2) years’ forklift experience required; Forklift Certification required
• Intermediate computer experience is required – Microsoft Excel
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail
• Must be able to write, read, and be fluent in English
• Steel-toed safety shoes
• Experience working with propane and electric forklifts is ideal

Additional Information:

• Hours of work – day shift 8am – 4pm must be available for an occasional Saturday depending on customer demand
• Role requires the ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, twist, and the use of hands
• Required to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
