Duties include (but are not limited to):
- Customer service oriented to ensure guests' satisfaction from arrival to departure.
- Conduct Front Desk duties such as check-in, check-outs, making guest keys, etc.
- Act as the main point of contact for guest inquiries, requests, and concerns.
- Handle escalated guest issues and find effective solutions.
- Ensure prompt and courteous communication with guests.
- Verify billing, create room reservations, and process special requests.
- Provide training and ongoing support to ensure high standards of customer service.
- Being knowledgeable of the Hotel, its layout, services and with all emergency and safety procedures.
- Work closely with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Foster a positive, collaborative and safe work environment for guests and staff.
Ideal Candidate:
- Effective leadership with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable and can commit to minimum 6-12 months of employment
- Has 1 to 2 years previous Hotel Front Desk or Reservations experience
- Is a capable multi-tasker with a keen attention to detail
- Has a professional and friendly personality and demeanor in person and over the telephone.
- Has proven problem solving, conflict resolution and guest service resolution skills
- Has excellent English comprehension and communication skills; a second language is an asset as we welcome many international guests
- Has experience working with Microsoft Office and property management systems such as Opera/Opera Cloud
