Role and Responsibilities:

This is a full-time on-site role for a Full Stack Developer (4-5 years of experience | Mid-Level ) at DIGITYS's location in Toronto, ON,Canada. The Full Stack Developer will be responsible for both front-end and back-end web development, software development, and implementing Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Full-Stack Development, Back-End Web Development, and Front-End Development skills Experience in Software Development Ability to implement Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with team members Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus

Preferred Skills:

Developed and maintained Full Stack web applications using modern frontend technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and frontend frameworks like React.js or Angular. Extensive experience in server-side development using Node.js and Express.js, with proficiency in building RESTful APIs and integrating backend services. Hands-on experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB), including database design, optimization, and querying. Implemented authentication and authorization mechanisms using JWT, OAuth, or similar technologies for securing web applications. Proficient in version control using Git and experience with Git workflows like GitFlow or feature branching. Deployed applications to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, leveraging services like EC2, S3, or Azure App Service. Collaborated with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and QA engineers in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality software products. Demonstrated problem-solving skills through identifying and resolving technical issues, optimizing performance, and implementing scalable solutions. Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Jasmine for unit and integration testing. Actively participated in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and adhering to coding standards and best practices. Kept abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, continuously enhancing skills through self-learning and participation in professional development activities.
