Full-Stack Development - Full-Time Intern Only - Summer 2024

Who is Kiwiz? Kiwiz is a startup specializing in automotive inspections based in Montreal and launched in 2022. The platform is a SAAS that connects inspection requesters (our customers) with service providers (inspectors) all across Canada. Our daily mission? To assist people in confidently purchasing a used car while avoiding bad deals. We work together with a clear goal in mind: to become the number 1 solution for buying used cars in North America. Main tasks you will work on:

• Improving the user interface for professional clients
• Development of new features and bug fixes on our report and our SAAS
• Create automated inspection systems.
• Most of the tasks are full stack, you will use different tools, front end : angular, CRM, back end : node js express js, mongoDB. You will also work with the different buckets in AWS.

You will be supervised daily by Kamil, a full-stack developer at Kiwiz.

Required Profile

Since Kiwiz is a startup, you will have many responsibilities and will learn faster than in other places. Therefore, we are looking for someone comfortable with responsibilities, autonomy, and independent learning as well as interest in technology and product development.

Hard Skills:

• Significant experience in web development
• Experience in the MEAN stack
• Good knowledge of databases
• Good knowledge of APIs (creation and communication)
• Algorithmic logic
• Communication and writing skills in English
• Experience with Hubspot is a plus

Soft Skills:

• Results-oriented
• Ability to solve problems and always seek further solutions
• Autonomous
• Comfortable stepping out of your comfort zone
• Curious (constantly eager to learn and grow)
• Good organizational skills

Terms:

• Full-time starting in 2024, April 29 (flexible)
• $10 000 MITACS grant for the 4-month internship
• Hybrid (possibility to alternate between remote work and work at our offices in the Mile-End)
