SalaryLaclie Guardian Pharmacy is looking for a Full-Time Pharmacy Assistant/Cashier. We are a small town pharmacy at heart with customer service at its core. We strive to give our very best to each customer we interact with and you will be an integral part of that interaction.
Duties would include:
- Cashier: greeting customers as they pick up their prescriptions and using the point of sale computer to cash them out.
- Answering phones: Answering general pharmacy questions and forwarding calls to pharmacists when needed. Writing out prescription and non-prescription orders to be filled.
- Calling patients
- Bagging and organizing prescriptions by last name to facilitate quick pickup and check out.
- Cleaning the pharmacy area when needed to ensure a sanitary and safe work environment.
The successful applicant will need to be able to consistently put on a smile and warmly greet customers, be able to work well in a team, and constructively answer patient’s questions or concerns.

The position is for approximately 30-40 hours a week and includes evenings and weekends. We are currently open M-F 9-6, Sat 9-5.
Salary: $17.00-$18:00 depending on prior customer service experience.
