The Fusion Intelligence analyst will conduct integrated analysis of fraud, physical security, and cyber threats to provide a holistic view of potential risks. Responsible for identifying and assessing strategic threats with potential impact to the organization. Will collaborate with fraud, physical, and cyber analysts to gather and synthesize relevant intelligence and develop and maintain strategic threat intelligence reports, providing timely and relevant information to stakeholders. Additionally, the analyst will monitor global threat landscapes to identify emerging trends, vulnerabilities, and risks relevant to the organization.
The Analyst provides analysis and reporting services that allow us to understand, mitigate and neutralize threats, in support of businesses/groups and BMO overall. The main areas covered are Cyber Security, Physical Security and Fraud. Disseminates intelligence and creates documents and presentations in service of informing, advising, or updating internal stakeholders. Participates or conducts thorough research activities to identify vulnerabilities, threats and risks. The Analyst will be responsible for the collection, processing, and analysis of information from a variety of data sources and delivering timely, relevant, and insightful decision-making oriented intelligence analysis to BMO stakeholders
What will you do:
Owning the creation and delivery of recurring intelligence products and briefs to support a wide range of BMO stakeholders.
Providing tailored ad hoc intelligence analysis support to leadership requests for information during steady state and crisis conditions.
Analyzes data and information to provide insights and recommendations.
Collects, organizes, analyzes and disseminates significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends or patterns in complex data sets.
Writes, edits, and reviews intelligence for operational and senior bank stakeholders to reduce residual risk.
Stays abreast of industry trends/risks related to information security, technology and business trends / risks through participation in professional associations, practice communities & individual learning.
What you need to succeed:
Typically 3-4 years of relevant experience in either Intelligence Analyst or Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst roles and post-secondary degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Exceptional research, briefing, analysis and writing skills, preferably in intelligence or security related domains.
Familiarity with Fusion Intelligence and cyber security
Knowledge/experience with intelligence cycle, particularly within a private sector environment is an asset.
Security certifications from a well-recognized institution (e.g. (ISC)2, ISACA, SANS) are welcome
