Role and Responsibilities
· Coordinate and manage the internal operations of the painted hand community development corporation.
· Oversee the disbursement of funds allocated to the corporation from the government of Saskatchewan.
· Establish and implement policies and procedures to carry out the corporation's mandate.
· Act as a liaison for all public relations functions related to the corporation.
· Develop and maintain positive working relationships with governmental departments, external first nations, and other community development corporations.
· Prepare and present regular written reports to the board regarding the management and administration of the corporation.
· Supervise and evaluate all staff employed by the corporation.
· Develop the annual budget and strategic work plan for the corporation.
· Organize office infrastructure and filing systems for efficient use of resources.
· Coordinate and plan meetings of the Board, including agenda preparation and logistical arrangements.
· Maintain financial records and provide reports to the Board regarding the Corporation's finances.
· Manage advertising opportunities and oversee the production of marketing materials.
· Oversee employee development, relations, and performance management.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
· Interested candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field, along with previous experience in a managerial role.
· Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.
Preferred Skills
· Experience with Sage 50 accounting software preferred.
