When your actions lead to success
- Utilize datasets at various levels of geography to create market research.
- Provide retail focused insights using census, segmentation and customer data coupled with a GIS.
- Leverage various software including (but not limited to) ArcGIS, MS Access Excel, and Alteryx to transform and process datasets for analysis purposes
- Develop processes that gather and scrub data to perform accurate analysis
- Create custom queries ulas/workflows to generate reports/maps such as (but not limited to): market share, ranking, ROI, store sales, and trade areas, to provide distribution recommendations
- Map distribution areas at the distributor-route level to avoid duplication and maximize ROI
- Create thematic maps/heat maps of print/digital activity
- Create ranking/targeting reports as well as summary reports (Word doc.) Create and implement effective targeting models for unaddressed advertising programs
- Support and contribute to a healthy and safe work environment by following all workplace regulations, policies, and initiatives, including reporting all first aid injuries, accidents, and workplace hazards.
When your expertise drives us
- Graduate of a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Program or related discipline
- Minimum 1 year experience in retail analytics environment
- Experience conducting market studies / statistics / analytics
- Strong multitasker, with great communication and time management skills
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
