Grader Operator

Rock Iron Contracting is seeking a competent, full time Grader Operator to join our base crew team.

The successful candidate will have experience that includes; grading of parking lots, residential and private roadways, site grading and warehouses. Experience with blueprints, understanding of survey and locates is considered an asset

Job Duties and Responsibilities Include

• Operating equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Conducting Pre-operational checks of equipment
• Lubrication and basic daily maintenance
• Adhering to all company and legislative safety requirements
• Arrive on time and be fit for work every scheduled shift
• Assist ground crew with labour duties as necessary

Experience

A minimum of 3-5 years will be required for this position. Anything less will not be considered

Transportation

Own transportation is required as some work sites may not be accessible by public transportation

Language

English is required for communication

Salary: From $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 70 per week
