We are seeking a Health & Safety Manager to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities Include:
- Promote and enforce Health and Safety regulations and safe working practices, ensuring compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Acts and Legislation.
- Train and provide guidance on Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Be present on building sites to assess ongoing work conditions and ensure compliance.
- Coordinate with Site Managers and workers to develop and implement solutions to safety related concerns.
- Hold workers, including subcontractors accountable for failure to follow safe work procedures and Health and Safety policy.
- Facilitate and participate in incident/accident investigations and risk assessments. Develop corrective actions and follow up on actions to ensure compliance.
- Conduct regular site safety audits. Complete action plans to address any concerns.
- Responsible for all Site safety communication including, daily safety talks and JHSC meetings.
- Coordinate employee training; ensure all training is up to date and compliant, conduct new hire safety training and book training as required.
- Address worker or workplace concerns including; work refusal, conflict resolution, any Health and Safety related concern.
- Responsible for all emergency response procedures including; evacuation plans, fire drills, first aid.
- Oversee return to work process, WSIB claims management and modified work program.
- Manage site and project safety resources and equipment.

Qualifications
- Post-secondary certificate, diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety preferred.
- 5+ years' experience of practical Health and Safety Experience.
- Construction experience.
- Knowledgeable in Occupational Health and Safety legislation.
- Proven Leadership skills with the ability to influence others to follow safety practices, procedures, and regulations.
- Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Regular travel will be required.

Salary: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
